Anyone know if the England vs Japan game will be shown on any of the cable or sat channels in the USA.

The best thing you could do, is to get yourself down to a BRITISH SPORTS PUB or BAR that have a licence to show SKY TV. pay the door entry charge and enjoy watching the roundeyes win.

I´m not sure, but as far as I know, Japan is not in Europe.:-)
Nevertheless England is playing in the Eurocup this year. Also you might be interested that they just beat Croatia 4:2 and therefore have gone through to the quarter-finals. They´re going to play Portugal on Thursday at 20:45cest.
Or, as a thought, did you just try a good wind up ?

;)Good try KAISER, but England did play Japan in Manchester and played out a 1 - 1 draw.(pre-Euro 2004 Tournament on 1st. June,they played Iceland on the 5th.and won 6 - 1.so, no wind up old chap,fingers x for the Czechs.

Looks the germans have gone out then, shame england was looking forward to beating them again after we steamroll over portugal.

To anyone who is interested we are looking to begin our pick up games of football ( soccer ) Wednesday 21 July at Meadow Park School in Irvine,beginning at 7.00 pm. We usually play for about on hour or until the last man is standing !! Hopefull all who played last year will come back . If there are any new players interested then please come along ( modellers ,designers, engineers etc) all are welcome. Please wear soccer boots and some form of shin protection as some of the lads in their 40s still think they are 18 !!! ( who mentioned Ratty!!!) We have players of all abilities and fitness and it is purely for fun and a chance to have a run out. So all you wanna be Beckhams, Bests, Charltons, Matthews, Shiltons, Keegans show up and play !!!

We should have about 12-14 players but new faces are always welcome. Dont forget it is just a kick about and a way of trying to keep fit !!!!

Concerning my reply, I thought better late then never. I take is as a compliment being referred to as Kaiser! 1st of all England got kicked out the Eurocup as well. Then Germany beat Austria with good ol´ Klinsi being the new coach (ok it was only a friendly). But with him supervising a crowd (or Kraut) of physically and technically not really top players we should still be able to beat ENGLAND in the worldcup 06 yet again. They keep braging on how good they´re gonna be this tournament and still get kicked out before they know it! Face it: they are not that great after all (nor the Germs)  |
