Hello Everyone, I've been reading this forum for some time and decided it was time I signed up and posted something. So firstly a quick intro. My name is Mark Wells and I am a partner in the UK based industrial design company Xenophya Design www.xenophya.com have a look at our web site to see some of our project work. Although we do almost all types of design work from transport and industrial all the way through to some graphic and web (see www.claymodeller.com/events.htm one of ours) we are trying to push the company as specialising in personal vehicle design, motorcycles, jet skis, quads ect, anyway have a look at our web site for further info and some case studies. Secondly we're always on the look out for second-hand tools. We have a good selection of the standard Chavant stuff, steels, slicks ect. but are always interested if any one is having a clear out. We are currently also on the look out for a second measuring system. We currently use a bridge style gantry for full scale motorcycle models but would like a smaller item for 1/4 scale and component models. As our company is still very much in its infancy we are on a very tight budget so we would be interested in anything you may have lying about your studio not being used, even if you consider it obsolete we may be able to use it. Any takers email me at info@xenophya.com Cheers, Mark

Hello Bill,
Thanks for the response.
I’ve just had a quick re-read of my post and realised that it reads as if we’re looking for donations of tools, any donations would of course be greatly appreciated but we are willing and able to pay for second hand kit. I should of put something along the lines of a classified advert “CLAY TOOLS WANTED CASH WAITNG” ;D
A selection of height venires, calipers, dividers ect and of course templates is how we do things currently but something along the lines of a table which we can have permanently set up would be great, in fact two would be even better. I have emailed Dan Scigalski about his ‘Symetra’ and am currently awaiting his response. Has anyone used one?
Thanks again for the response, greatly appreciated.
Mark.
