Well done Jeff, great link and good to see the media reporting what most of us have known for years.
The English are the best at what we do!!
Only one small problem. Its a little to late for a lot of the independent studios. Places like M.S.X. Hawtal Whitings, R.L.E. have been seriously let down by the great and evil empire of Ford, and what about all of the Midlands studios that have gone, or are going, due to lack of work.
G.M. have not done much to support Lotus in recent years.
And so our industry has been in decline. Sending Mr Mays over here to learn about design is a bit ironic when you think about his great design enterprise "Ingeni" which fizzled away.
Maybe the industries press should dig a bit deeper into the way these companies have run rough shot over their suppliers and in turn the contractors who support them.
This country has the greatest history of innovation and design as shown by the way Gibbs Technology invested its money over here, its just a shame that the companies who could still be benefiting, have destroyed such a large part of it.
Lets hope the people at the top have a change of heart and start treating us guys at the bottom with some respect again.
