Although I modelled for about ten years (and loved every minute), I am now retired and have been busying myself with a determined effort at making money on the net! After about five years of trying, I finally came to the conclusion that it is a very difficult challenge and frought with risk. Also, for me I believe it would take up more time than I really want to put in! After all, this retirement lark is meant to be more about doing things that are important for ourselves and family than activities that one would consider 'work'!
I finally decided to look at different investment opportunities, including 'options trading' and the forex market. Unfortunately, these activities are also time consuming and require a particular mentality (not for me).
I finally decided that the ideal thing to do was to invest 'passively'. With that in mind, the hunt was on and this in itself turned out to be a big task!
Well, that job is now done and I am pleased to say that I have found just two places to plonk my money. I would like all those who feel it's important to start building a portfolio, and prepare for their future, to take a look at my findings.
