Hi all, I'm a new member, so thought I'd introduce myself! I have recently completed a degree in transport design at Huddersfield University (UK) and am very interested in clay modelling and have been for a few years now (since second year of my degree). I realise i have much to learn in the industry, however i'm looking for the opportunity to gain some valuable experience. I have worked alongside modellers from Nissan, Jaguar and Ford in 'live' projects where I took part in group tasks to design vehicles and construct scaled models overlooked by the manufacturers design teams. Very positive comments were made by David Godber (Director Nissan Europe) and the two modellers that accompanied him, regarding my modelling skills. As mentioned above, I wish to further my skills and experience in this area. If you have any advise of who I could contact for work/placement/experience/internship etc. please let me know. Thanks Matt Kennerley P.S. Here's a pic of my final year major project model, any comments welcomed! (my models the top image!!) www.cardesignnews.com/news/2005/050805huddersfield-show/index.html
