Must be well versed in welding, fabricating for hard parts very good at Maths, mechanically minded and able to read prints.

sorry for asking but why look for a mathematician thats a machanic and can weld on a clay modelling site. but you should maybe try a different site or offer welding training to a clay modeller, as calculators are cheap, most can read drawings.good luck anyway
I would except training though.only done a little bit of welding ,i am sure not enough
