Hi guys..
I heard today, that there is modellers taking money of other modellers, just for telling them whow to phone up for the next job !!! In my eyes, this is becoming seriously mad , and sad !! Don t wanne name anyone, but the people I mean know! TEXT There is certain single persons in Germany, that cant modell anyway, think they can make money that way !
If u are offert a job that way please donot hesitate to contact me, and I will make things clear with the company u are going to work for !! There is hard times coming up for modellers, and I think we are not ready for slavery yet. !!

Hello All,
Ralfs posting is disturbing to say the least, for modellers to act in this way shows how the industry has changed from when we used to help each other get new contracts to this exploitation of the current situation is diabolical.
These people should be exposed and companies warned of the existence of the practice. All the Agents and Design Studios read this forum and if you have any information regarding this extortionate practice I would encourage you to name the people who are preying on modellers. You can use this forum anonymously by posting as a guest if you wish and don't forget you can also post pictures.
This must be stopped before it becomes a serious problem
Thanks Ralf for bringing this matter to my attention.
Jeff.

Hi Ralf and all others, speaking to a few lads here in Munich they mentioned this thread. Now, what on eath do people think (if they do at all!) to charge money for phone-numbers or Agents-addresses? Are they like the enquires and do they give you your money back if you don´t get the job??? When I started contracting a few years ago, I thought it´s like a group of people with the same interests trying to do a good job. If one of your fellow colleagues rang you up and asked for a job-possibility you would share your knowledge. It might be yourself ringing him to get a job the next time. I think I just stop here. I could go to great lengths if I start thinking about the consequences of such behavior. Just disgraceful!

Hi all
As I know now, there has been money taken not only for information....no !!!
People took money per hour ( for beginners during their contract ) , and when it became embarassing they asked for a final last payment ....
So, " from now on u are free " they said !!!!!!!!!
I only hope I`ll never meet those people again !
regards to all of u I know and RESPECT
Ralf

Hi fellows,
I heard this story as well, when I was workin for smart. I coldn`t believe it- but it`s true! a modeller was taking money per hour from two beginners!
our job has changed during the last years step by step, and this is another curiosity that grows in this climate.
ther is just not enough solidarity among the modellers.
it´s a shame!
take care Carl-Peter
