Just read the article, Driven to distraction, on the home page. Quote.... a cellphone conversation itself, not just holding the phone, takes drivers’ focus off the road, studies showed So then i suppose any conversation would pose a similar threat, ie with a passenger, listening to a radio debate, or maybe even listening to direction instructions from a sat nav! As we already have no eating, drinking, driving after alcohol/drug use or smoking whilst driving, and of course cell phone use now. Shouldn´t sainthood be considered as a compulsory part of the driving test ? (All religions acceptable of course) I haven´t noticed a general improvement of driving skills on the roads since any of these measures were introduced, but i guess many lawyers have made big money drafting the laws out, so at least somebody benefits. Any thoughts?

Grey poupon is a French dijon mustard made with white wine apparently. (check link from previous post)
